2025 ANNUAL REPORT GIVE HOPE TRUST
ETHIOPIA
We hope this report finds you well. Your partnership continues to transform lives through Give Hope Ethiopia. We are proud to announce that the Give Hope Trust now supports 71 students, providing the essential resources they need to thrive in school and in health. We are deeply grateful for your role in this growth.
Beneficiaries at Yeka, Tafo and Yerer who are supported by Give Hope Trust were receiving donations in the past year, 2025. Among the supports given to these beneficiaries;
Nutrition and Sanitation Support: - Give Hope Ethiopia employs a holistic approach to care for our 71 beneficiaries across three centres. By providing consistent monthly nutritional support and essential sanitation assistance throughout the past year, we have ensured that these children have the physical foundation necessary for healthy growth and development.
School Stationary Materials and Tutorial support: - To ensure our students started the year on equal footing, Give Hope Ethiopia provided every child with a new backpack, exercise books, and stationery. Beyond the practical benefits, this distribution fostered a vibrant atmosphere of pride and motivation. For parents, this intervention provided vital economic relief, allowing them to focus on supporting their children's long-term educational journey.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to excel in the classroom. Through our tailored tutorial program, students receive the extra attention they need to master challenging subjects and build confidence in their studies. These sessions do more than just reinforce school lessons—they provide a supportive environment where children can turn academic hurdles into opportunities for growth.
Annual trip: - The joy of play is essential for every child’s mental and physical health. To support this, Give Hope Ethiopia organizes special trips that allow our students to simply be children—reducing stress and building a positive outlook. Last year, the children enjoyed a memorable day at one of the capital's largest play centres, where they shared a day of fun, laughter, and refreshments and they visited Adwa Victory Museum. These moments are vital in helping them return to their studies with refreshed spirits.

Impact and Results:-
It is truly inspiring to witness the transformation in these 71 students’ lives. Today, our students are healthier, more energized, and deeply committed to their education. We are seeing consistent academic progress, but perhaps most rewarding is the renewed confidence and enthusiasm these children now carry with them. Your support has made this vibrant growth possible.
Challenge: -
Due to budget constraints, we are unable to provide tutorial support customized for each child's specific grade level at this time. Consequently, students from different grade levels are grouped together for combined English and Math tutorial sessions. Although this enables us to offer crucial assistance, it does not facilitate the personalized learning experiences we strive to achieve.
Solution: - As much as we can, we tried to solve the challenge we encountered. In collaboration with our tutoring staff, we have prioritized differentiated instruction to ensure that lessons are as gradeappropriate as possible. By adapting the curriculum within our combined sessions, we strive to meet the specific academic standards and learning objectives relevant to each student’s level of study.
Looking Forward:- Your generosity has sparked a profound transformation in the lives of these 71 students, and we are energized to build on this momentum. We believe that with your continued partnership, even greater change is possible. In the year ahead, we will continue providing the comprehensive care our children rely on, while looking for new ways to grow our services and touch more lives.
We are truly moved by your belief in our vision and your extraordinary kindness. It is an honour to have you by our side as a partner. Together, we are doing more than providing support—we are empowering these children to dream big and reach the bright futures they deserve. We extend our sincere thanks once more for your significant support. We welcome the opportunity to discuss our work with you further and are happy to provide any additional details you may need.
Thank You!

2025 ANNUAL REPORT GIVE HOPE TRUST
ZAMBIA
LUYANDO COMMUNITY SCHOOL
2025 was an eventful year with the first term beginning on 13 January and the year ended on 5 December 2025 of the third term.
2025 ACTIVITIES
The year began with 371 learners and ended with 377 learners. We have maintained a staff of 10 teachers and 2 support staff.
We embarked on an ambitious project to rehabilitate our kitchen. We have put in a cooking area with a chimney, a sink, black board area to cater for a home economics class and seating areas. We are currently at 90% completion. Before and after pictures will surely be shared. Our greatest challenge has been labour force.
Our production unit was active throughout the year though watering became a challenge when the pump broke down twice coupled with the challenges of load shedding. The determined children from different grades, led by their respective teachers, have learned to appreciate farming as a business because the finances they realize from their small land portions have been managed by them. It was a joy to see them having end of year snacks from the same finances.
Mr. Martin Zuch visited us three times this year. These surprise visits made us feel appreciated and encouraged. Mr. Matthew Raymond came by throughout the year to check on our wellbeing and to encourage all of us here.
The few children on the sponsorship program with the help of their class teachers updated their sponsors through letters as required. We desire to have more children on this program next year especially that one girl on the program has left town.
We had over 7 thefts/burglaries in one staff house (the headteachers) during the course of the year. All took place between 8am and 10am. This security lapse has given us the drive to embark on a deliberate program to lobby for fencing next year 2026. Burglar bars have since been put up in all the windows and broken windows replaced.
The feeding program has been the icing on a cake for our children who have greatly improved their school attendance. We still have none-school going children who join in the feeding from time to time and we are glad to be of service. We are hoping SHEMA Dev. Ltd will still bless us with the porridge mixture and sugar. We have cultivated a maize field to cater for the feeding of our children in part next year. Maybe we can even grow some sweet potatoes if we are able to purchase some sweet potato vines.

KENYA
Carol Wanyama says. ‘At Covenant Lilies Education Centre we are committed to giving our vulnerable children a quality education. We are shaping the next generation into being stars in their community. Thank you Greenside Parish and Pauline Wilcox for supporting our children to receive school uniforms and shoes, for enabling them to have a taught swimming lesson once a year and for the 40 parishioners in Winlaton who contribute £40 a month to provide lunch for the children, some of whom would otherwise have to go without anything to eat.’

A proud moment for Grade 1 children (above)
Many had no experience of swimming. Since 2024, there’s an annual trip to a local secondary school for one taught lesson.
And younger children aspiring to graduate.
Enjoying playtime after the swimming lesson too!
