## Activities

**Objects:** 1.To promote and protect good health and to relieve sickness, in particular but not exclusively by providing support to pregnant and new mothers giving birth in state hospitals with practical care and education on breast-feeding and raising their children.2.To relieve poverty;  3. To relieve any other need of those who are significantly disadvantaged by reason of their youth, old age, ill health, disability or social or economic circumstances; 4. To advance education, in particular but not exclusively by providing or assisting to provide pre-school facilities or school teaching to children;  5. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life;  6.To develop the capacity and skills of the socially and economically disadvantaged members of the community so they may participate more fully in society.

**Activities:** Thembalitsha UK exists to raise funds to support the provision of key healthcare, education and training to transform the lives of the poor, destitute, forgotten and vulnerable in South Africa. This is done via several projects.
