I report on the accounts of Deaf-SELF for the year ended 31 March 2024.
Respectlve responslbllltles el trustee5 and examlner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparatSon of the accounts. The charlty's trustees consider that
on audit Is not required for this year under section 144121 of the Charities Act 2012
(the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my re5ponslbillty to:
examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act;
to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directlons glven bythe Charlty Commlssion under
section 14515llbl of the 2011 Act,. and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basls of Independent examlner's report
My examinatlon was carfied out in Bccordance wlth the general Dlrectlofis given by the Charity Commission.
An examinatlon includes a revlew of the accounting record5 kept by the charity and a comparlson of the accounts
presented with those records. It also include5 consideration of any unusual Items or dlsclosures In the accounts,
and seeking explanations from the trustees concernin8 any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provlde all the evldence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no oplnion is glven as to whether
the accounts present a 'true and fair, view ond the report Is Ilmlted to those matters set out In the statement below.

In connertlon wlth my examlnatlon, no matter ha5 come to my attentlon:
111 whlch 8ives me reasonable cause to belleve that In any materlal respect the requlrements:
to keep accounting records in accordance wlth section 130 of the 2011 Act,. and
to prepare accounts whlth accord wlth the accountlng records and comply wlth the accountlng requlrements
of the 2011 Act have not been met, or
121 to which, In my oplnion, attentlon should be drawn In order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts
to be reached.
