| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The Trust’s provision of facilities for the use of weekly pet dog training classes continued. Owners and dogs benefit from the social integration. The wider community benefits from owners and dogs being well trained e.g. Kennel Club good citizen scheme. Individuals have hired the premises to train small groups, and individuals, in ad hoc sessions. The advantage of having these premises is that a suitable floor covering is permanently installed, and necessary equipment is readily available to all. During the year, money which had been donated to the Trust for the purchase of defibrillator equipment was ring-fenced and passed on to dog training clubs around the country. |
