All LBW activities in this period continued to be performed in conjunction with local, indigenously led churches that we have a connection with. These good works in turn naturally warm people to the church and empower significant community members, with the result of advancing the Christian message and hope to others within the community that the good work is performed in, This work is then supported by our specialist teams and UK based trustees who are in contact both through virtual communication and through physical travel to see the projects in their location. This year we have been involved in supporting and furthering the following projects: The provision of a TB prevention programme in South Sudan, run and organised by two former LBW sponsorship students who are now medical professionals. Enabling key leaders to travel to deal with difficult pastoral concerns. A project to deliver hundreds of pairs of period pants to Kuleu Lights School in South Sudan, so young female pupils can continue their education when they are on their periods instead of having to miss school.
