## rEPORT OF THE TRUSTEES OF GRATIA INTERNATIONAL LIMITED The board of Gratia International Limited (Charity Commission # 1122300 Registered Number 06268349) presents its report for the year ended 30 June 2020. The Annual Financial Statements are attached in shortened form. Gratia International exists to provide scholarships in Africa for university studies. As a group of educators and entrepreneurs we believe that tertiary education is an important factor empowering the individual and society. Ensuring at least an equal opportunity for women provides a powerful multiplier effect in alleviating poverty and accelerating intergenerational development. Gratia International intermediates between donors worldwide and the awardees by establishing a close relationship with accredited universities to ensure the funds are delivered efficiently. We aim to allow the development of a personal link between donor and student by facilitating their communication where appropriate. In addition mentoring support for scholars is provided at partner universities. Gratia International Ltd. is a registered charity in the UK and Gratia International Inc. is a 501(c)3 foundation registered in the US. Gratia International has provided more than 100 annual scholarships of which more than 64% are to women. Donors are able to select to support the Gratia International Scholarships generally or specifically named scholarships which are created from time to time to be associated with a particular university or course of study.
