churches and the community at large, mainly through its wor1( In primary and secondary schools in Bexloy
borough atthough this year our work has taken us into neighbouring areas of Swanley, Dartford and Gie8nwith.

In planning the activities the Twsteès have applied the guldanc8 on public b8nefrt issued by th& Charfty
Commission. CRIBS, strapllne is Lwing Values = Growing Faith. It aims to help pupils develop positive valu85 10
live by, and provide space and strategies lo help them think through what faith means to others an(J themsetves.
The organisation evaluates ils activities and outcomes.
We are delighted to report on the following projects..
Vlhat:The CRi8S team has been delivoring RE lessons sonce 1993. RE¢onnect is a programme that offers the
leaching of Chrislianity, as part of the RE S￿rabus, and consists of a bank of 170 creative and memorable
lessons.
The l&am leach in primary schools across Bexley BoroLJgh as well as nèighbouring boroughs.
REconn8cI also includès bgspoke workshops to schools as well as seasonal dramatic pr8sentalions written and
performed by the REconnecl team to provide Children with explanalions for the true mèaning of the Christmas
and Easter celebrations.
Outputs: In Ihe academic ygar 2022123 CRIBS worked in 10 primary schools and a preschool delivoring 606
RE lessons, coving 29 lopi¢slunils Imosl for 5 lessons each) to 122 dlfferent classes reaehlng an estSmaled
3650 pupils.
Out¢omos.' 100% of teachèrs evaluated the lessons in the htghest ratings across a range of quality c¥iteria. 88Q/o
of children said thsy enjoyed their lessons a￿1 83% said the lessons had helped them know more about the
topic.

we were back to o more normal delivery of both Christmas and Easter productlons, ￿(hOul Covi(J disruption.

geographical area, oven travelling as far into London as Vauxhall. as w811 as towards Gravesend in Kent.
What:'Movlng Up, Is 8 90-minute workshop for children in Yr6 to help prepare thèm for movlng from primary
school lo secondary school. The workshop includes a videos. discussion and opportunities to express how th6y
a￿ feeling about some of the ch8nges wlh movlng lo secondary school. Thi5 IS the 3rd year of MovlrwJ Up, sinc8
we launched it in 2021, following a fully vthial editlon In 2020. P￿vIouS lo 2020, we had d8llvered 'T8kin9 off.,
whole year group Workshop that was delivered in the hall as opposed to indlvidual classrooms.
Outputs.. Over 1.000 Children reached across the 24 prirnary s¢hools vlsited wthin 42 differenl cLgsses.

Summary'.This year was arnther highty SY￿esS￿l ye8r for our Ir8nsilion Wofkshops. We h8d MO￿ schools
book than previous ye8rs. bul a lol of these were smaller schools so we a¢lually had less clas8es than before.
The data shows how much this workshop is apprecialgd by both chlldrén and staff a8 it prepares chiklren for th
chang8 in thelr lives.
What: For thé start of the 2022123 school year. we merged Boys Noise and b.'YotJ, our prevlous Wel￿being
programmgs for prfmary school aged boys and girl8 respectively, into one programme, known as 'Unlimit8d'.
Unlimited Iprimary) is a programme for boys and girls struggllng with so¢bal, emotfonal, bèhavioural or perS￿al
issues. It consists of small group Hgartsense sessions or mentoring, fo¢ussing on emotional edu￿tion and an
after4ch(K•l club. focussing on team games. social skills and confidence building. We also developed a short
bereavement course lo support children going through this. Du8 to school budgets. only onfr school has had the
after-school club, so following data is based on Heartsense.
Outputs: 392 children reached the majority of whomwe worked with for more than onetem) wlh 24
programmes delivered across 10 primary s¢hool$.

Summary: HeartSen5e has continued to be of vital importance to the schools Ihat hav& bought into it. It is hlghly
valued by the Children we work with, along ￿th thelr teachers and the senior leadership of the schools. School
budgets becoming lighter are starting to have an impa¢l on our bookings. wrth more schools bo0￿.ng smaller
packages, bul the number of ghools are increasing so next year is looklng as busy 85 this year.
What.. The 2022123 a¢ademSc year for our Unlimited Secondary work saw our mgntorfng p￿enCe 8xpand its
reach into four secondary sch¢Jols. We had th8 pdvilege of supporting young p8ople ¥￿th thair transition from
primary school into sècondary school at both Cleeve Park School and Orchard Academy. Whilst assisllng ￿th
transllions, we ￿ntinUed our support of young people al St Columb8's thls year In a lessened capacity. As
mentioned in last yearfs report our mentoring presance extendetl also lo the young people of Bexleyheath
A¢ademy.. Alongsitle our mentorin9 5UPPOrt, this academic year has given us the opportunity to resume working
with Christian Unions toth in Townley Grammar School and Bexley Grammar School.

The CRIBS le8m was glad lo be involvgd in supporting Lark in the Park and Spark in the Park. over the Summer-
the first time Spark in the Park had been back as an in-person event since Ihe pandemic. Through drama.
storytelliw and a range of other aclivilies, it was a privilege for the team lo be involved in serving children and

Englantl and Wales. The members of the Company are the Trustees nam8d on page 1. In the event of the
chaiilable incorporated organisaticm being wound up, the liability in respect of the guarantee is limittid lo

The financial slalemenls h8ve been piepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 1021-
Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charitses
preparing their accounts in accordonc& with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Republlc of Ireland IFRS 1021 leffeclive 1 January 20191, the Financial Repoiting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republlc of Ireland IFRS 1021 and the Companies Act 2006.
