**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF POVERTY IN CHENNAI IN PARTICULAR BY SUPPORTING THE CHARITABLE WORK OF YMCA MADRAS.TO ADVANCE IN LIFE PEOPLE THROUGH PROVIDING ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.

**Activities:** Chennai Challenge takes an annual trip of volunteers to Chennai. Work is carried out in schools, community centres and an orphanage. Projects are run by Madras YMCA or Oasis. Funds are given to provide resources that would not otherwise be possible. All volunteers on the trip are trained and have their life enriched by the experience.
