l am very pleased to say that this was a year of si8nificant re¢ovèry and development desplte a couple of 5etba¢k5.
After a slow but stèady grlnd away from the protracted effects of the COVIO epidemic. we saw the return of several user groups
to full st￿ngth. plus a 8ood number of new faces. meaning a return to financial stability.
Our Centre Mana8er. Hannah O'Neill left us to further her career tn the field of politlC5. We were 3150 adversely affected bythe
stx month absence from the office of Kim McDonald owing to can￿r IreatrneFTrt. Happily. she was able to return to U5 towaids
the end of the reporting period and we were able to make good progress streamlining our financial and office procedures. and
to improve Dur IT systems. Our hard-worklng 8ooklngsand Businesssupport Manager. fina Batten coped magnificently wlth the
workload. ensuring that bookings were secured and our users were kept happy. The trustees stepped in to take on some of the
roles of Centre Mana8er, too. One of our langest-5erving Kevin Hall who had undertaken excellent work on He3￿h & Safety and
arketing stepped down from thi5 role during the course of the year.
Increases in general c05t5 such as utilities addèd to our overheads.
The emphasis on fiscal stability diverted u5 from actioj) on the problernatic rear outbuilding whlch had, at least, been made
secure by the work of Justin Brightman'5 local company.
Thanks, too. to Malcolm. our loyal caretakerof some twentyyears, servi¢e, to effective malntenanceworkfrom JamesTully, and
