The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ending 31,
March 2026. The trustees have adopted the provisions of the Statement of Recommended Practice

STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing document
The charity is controlled by its governing document, a constitution adopted on 26, November 2006
rh
as amended on 28 October 2007 and constitutes an unincorporated charity.
Risk Management
The Trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks to which the charity is exposed and to ensure
appropriate controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud and error.
Objertives and Artivities
Review of Actlvltles
The Holy Communion Services are celebrated in Malayalam on first, second and fourth Sundays and
in English on all the third Sundays and where five weeks are present English Holy Communion Services
are held on both third and fifth Sundays to support the leadership of Youth Fellowship.
Our parish actively participated in all Diocesan programs such as Annual Marthoma Meet, Diocesan
Sunday celebration and Diocesan Carol Service.
The 18th Annual Parish Day was celebrated on the 6 April 2025 following the Holy Communion
Service. The meeting was presided by our Vicar, Rev. Sanoj Babu Mathew. Rev. Reji Easow, Vicar,
Nottingham Holy Trinity and Leicester Congregation was the chief guest and delivered the parish day
message.
To honour and acknowledge the invaluable service of our parish health care workers to the society,
our parish arra nged a special prayer during our worship service on Sunday, 25th May 2025.
A retreat was held on Sunday, 6th July 2025 after worship service for Executive committee mernbers
and office bearers of all parish organisations.
A special 7-week journey to explore and study the Nicene Creed, to mark its 1700th anniversary. was
conducted, under the leadership of Edavaka Mission in the months of July & August 2025. Fine Art
Exhibition Commemorating the 1700 year of the Nicene Creed was conducted on 10th August 2025
with the active participation of our Sunday School Children.
First time our Church choir was invited to a Civic event of the Bristol County. The choir was invited to
sing 2 song5 at the Legal Service of the High Sheriff of Bristol County which took place at the Bristol
Cathedral on 7th October 2025.
The Harvest Festival was celebrated as a Harvest Carnival on 6th September 2025 and the Harvest
Sunday was celebrated on 7th September 2025.
Family Sunday 2025 was observed in the parish with a Holy Communion Service on 26th October
2025. Rev. Thomas Mathew led the service and delivered the message.
The Annual Parish Convention was conducted from 14th November to 16th November 2025. Rev.
Abu Cherian, Vicar of Carmel MTC, Liverpool. was the main speaker.

Carol rounds were conducted area prayer group-wise in all the areas of our parish. Representatives
and members took responsibility as convenors and actively supported the event.
Conducted Parish Carol Service on 20th December 2025. Rev. Dr. Hartmut Kopsch, Missionary and
Retired Clergy of the Anglican Church, gave the Christmas message.
The Ecumenical Carol Service, "Gloria 2025,, was held on 26th December 2025 at St. Mary's Indian
Orthodox Church. Our Parish Choir presented two carols during the service.
The service started on the New Year's Eve with singing. intercession, testimony and message from
the Word of God, prior to starting the Holy Communion Service. Our Vicar. Rev. Noble Abraham. led
the Service.
Harmony 2026 was conducted on 31st January 2026 at Trinity Academy. The event provided a
wonderful opportunity for our parish members to showcase their God-given talents.
The I nter-Prayer Group Quiz and Singing Competition took place on 8th February 2026. The event
provided an opportunity for participants to study the Word of God in depth, while also exploring and
encouraging the musical talents of our parish members. Nine prayer groups participated in this
closely contested competition.
As part of the mission and charitable work, our parish members extended their generous support to
an evangelist serving in the Rajasthan mission field, in response to his house construction appeal. In
addition, the parish contributed £1,000 towards Southvi Ile Primary School's food hamper project,
supporting vulnerable families within the school community.
As the continuation of our Neighbourhood Mission initiative, we once again participated in the
Southville Primary School Winter Fayre this year. Our Edavaka Mission, Sevika Sangham, and Youth
Fellowship were actively involved in the event, contributing their time, energy, and enthusiasm to
make it a meaningful and engaging experience for all.
We have a Sunday School with 190 children in 19 classes. Sunday School organizes various events for
the spiritual nourishment of our children. Vacation Bible School was held on 29, May to I" June 2024
with the theme "Jesus.. The Life Architect"
We have an active youth group which meets regularly with different programs to help one another
to grow more in their spiritual lives. They are also involved in charitable work here in UK and in India.
We have a talented choir group which supports worship service, parish convention, Christmas carol
service, Ecumenical carol service, etc.
The Sevika Sangham (Women's wingl of St Thomas Mar Thoma Church, Bristol, plays a major role in
our church, they meet every Sunday after the service with different interacting programs. They
observe World Day of Prayer every year. This organization raises funds to be donated to charitable
organisations and other causes.
Our Edavaka mission (parish mis5ion} focu5es on the spiritual growth of our parishioners by

conducting retreats. intercessory prayers, chain prayers on every Friday night, monthly night vigil.
etc. Many of its members deliver word of God during worship services and prayer meetings. Edavaka
mission co-ordinates worship and meditation duri ng lent season.
We have ten area prayer groups in our parish, and all were meeting together on allocated days for
prayer meeting led by our Vicar.
We are very grateful to Lord Almighty for HIS providence to our parish and its members. We would
like to express our sincere gratitude to all our parishioners for their various contributions and
prayerful support towards the overall growth of our parish.

As the charity's trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with
the requirement5 of the Charities Act 20111.the ACVI.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carryin8 Out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Direction5 given by
the Charity Commi55ion under section 145{51{bl of the Act.
Independent examlner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination which glves me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordan￿ with sertion 130 of the Charities Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting record5,' or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concernln8 the form and content
of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any
requirement that the account5 give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter considered as part of
an independent examination.
I have no concern5 and have come across no other matters in connectlon with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this report to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to
be reached.
