The strateEiC plan is reviewed annualty, and Trustees have examined the major strategic,
business and operational risks that the Tiust faces and are satisfied that systems are in
place to miti8ate these risk5.

The Trustees have miewed the Chaiity Commisslon's guldance on the requirement to
report on public benefft. They are satisfied that the work of the Trust. as described below,
accords with its stated objects and provides tangible public benefft to an appropriate
section of those who reside within the Trust'5 area of benefft. they believe that the crftef&a
used to assess those who may beneflt are not unreasona￿¥ restrictlve.

2. WORK OF THE TRusf AND ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THE YEAR
Hwf offered the followin8 services during 2023124 to support the delivery of these
objects:

Health Courses for healthcare professiona15 and members of the publ•L
ainical bu￿ary support Is currently offered to people wlth long-term condltions in
finanual diffKulty. i)urln8 2023124. Hwt provided bU￿rieS to 28 people livin8 With
cancer who were seekin8 Inte8ratlve Medklne senhces who would otherwise have
been unable to access these services.
Education bursary support ts offered to learners vAshln8 to stu(ty Integrative
healthcare WI￿ would benefit from financial support. Durin8 2023124 HWT
provided bursary support for 2 students needing help to fund their vocational
trainin8.
3. HNANaAL REVIEW
Durln8 2023124 the charlty received suffiaerrt donations to achieve our strateglc
development aims and to malntain Ouf core function and bufsary provision.

It is with deep gfatltude that we thank our donors, including RGCC and Weleda. who have
donated funds to support the core costs of the charity; Gilly'5 Gift charity who have
donated to the Clinical Bursary Fund: and Ann Hill Trust who have donated to 5UPPOrt the
development of the e-learnin8 plarform and supported 2 student bursarles.
3.2 Reserves Pollcy
It is the polky of the trustees to hold 3 months operating costs in reserve In unrestrkted
funds in order to establish an appropriate ￿e¢ of ¥￿ing capital and to protect the future
operation5 of the Trust from the effects of any unforeseen rnaterial financial events.
4. FUTURE PLANS
Goln8 forward in 2024-25 the charity Is r￿W under new leadership of Trustees: Ann
Pat￿la Turton Ichairl, Marion Elizabeth Reid, Dr Ntcola Jane Chatfield and Ann Louise
Musty: and Project Leader. Dr Elizabeth Thompson.

Cfver the next three to fNe years the charity will focus on the further development of the e-
learnin8 platform and course programme, working towards it becomin8 self-financing and
SUPPOrtin8 the delivery of HWt'S other tharitable objects.
While we deveknp a new delivery model we will fundraise lor:
A £75.(XK) per annum threwear core lundlng allowance
A £4.(XX) annual ClSnical Bursary Fund
A £4.(XY) Student Bursary Fund.
5. STATEMEKf OF TRUSTEE RESPONsIB¢unES
S.1 The Trustees (who are a150 Directors of The Health and Wellbein8 Trust fof the
purposes of company law) are responsible lor preparing the Trustees, Annual Report and
the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and the Charity SORP {FRS 1021.
Company law requires the Tru5tee5 to P￿pare finandal statements foi each financial yeJf.
wh•th Klve a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the tharltable company and of the
incoming resources and application of resources, including the Income and expenditure. of
the charitable company for the year.
In preparing these financial staternentS. the Trustees are required to: selert suitable
accounting policies and then apply them consi5tently' observe the methods and prinaples
in the Charities SORP; make judgements and estimates that a￿ reasonable and
prudent: State whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to
any materlal departures disdosed and explained in the financial statements. and prepare
financial statements on a 'Eoing con￿rn. basis unless it 15 inappropriate to assurne that the
charitable cornpany will continue in operation.
The Tru5tee5 are ￿spOnSible for keeping proper accounting recmls that dlsdose wilh
reasonable accuracy at any time the financial posiilon of the charitable company and
enable Ihem to ensure that the financial statement5 comply with the Companies Act 21X)6.

The charltrfs trustees {who are also director5 of the company for the purposes of company
law) are responsible for the preparatson of the accounts. The trustee5 consider that an audit
is not required for this year (under section 14412) of the Charities Act 2011. as amended by
the Charities Art 2011 (Accounts and Audit) Ordef 2015) and that an independent
exarnination is needed. l am qualified to undertake the examinataon by bein8 a fellow
member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountanis (FCCAI.
Havng satisfied myself that the charity Is not subject to audit under company law and is
