**Objects:** 1)  TO PROMOTE THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF SUFFERERS OF MITOCHRONDRIAL DISEASE AND OTHER METABOLIC DISORDERS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE.2)  TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF MITOCHONDRIA DISEASE AND OTHER METABOLIC DISORDERS ON TERMS THAT THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE PUBLISHED.3)  TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF MITOCHRONDRIAL DISEASE AND OTHER METABOLIC DISORDERS.

**Activities:** We fund research to improve diagnosis, develop treatments and we hope to ultimately find a cure for Mitochondrial Disease. We help build support networks by connecting affected families and also offer direct family support. We aim to raise awareness of mitochondrial disease by improving patient access to information, supporting professional training, and speaking at schools and public events.
