All work carried out for the Charity in the
UK is on a voluntary basis, mainly by
Trustees.

Achievements and Performance

1. Sponsorship level largely maintained.
2. Furthering the Charity's purpose for the
public benefit.
3. Applying for the third time for matched
funding through The Big Give
Christmas Challenge, which resulted in
total donations of over £11,000
(including Gfft Aid).
4. Other successful fundraising efft)rts,
leading to a significant improvernent in
bank balances, which are planned to be
used to purchase land in the region of
the Nyambene Hills for the construction
of a new home for the children in the
Charity's care.
5. Continued signifir2nt improvement in
the care and education of the children
through the efforts of the Charity's
relatively new manager in Kenya (she
was appointed in October 2022), who
has established excellent relations with
both staff and children.
