The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the )'ear ended J l March 2025. The trustees who Served
during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page l.
Structure? governance and managemenl
The charity. was formed in early 2007 and is governed by constitution adopted at the same time.
There are three trustees one of whom resigns at the AGM every year and stands for re-election.
Objectives and activities
The principal objective of the charity is to provide facilities for religious worship and to teach Holy Quran to children of
all ages. There are about sixty children between the ages of six and fifteen.
The charity also teaches the Urdu language and Islamic studies to children who were born in the country and also some
adults.
The charity also operates an advisory centre in legal matters like Immigration, Housing and also helps to fill forms to
people who need help.
Achievements and performaDce
The trustees consider the charity's achievements during the year to be satisfactory.
Financial revieiv
The charity received donations of £39,283(?024= £49,845), fees of £6.?00 (2024= £7,350) and inveslment income of
£31,100 (?024= £28,800) and expended £68,770 (20?4= £76.63]) in variou5 overheads, resulting in a net surplus of
£7,813 (2024.. £9,364) which is carried forward.
Full details of income and expenditure are given on page 5 of the accounts.
Statement of trustees, responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparinu the Trustees, Annual Report and the financial stateinents in accordance with
applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Sthndards (United Kingdoin Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires ihe trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial
year which give a true and fair view of charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity
for thal year. In preparing these financial statements the twstees are required to-
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them wnsistently.

The trustees are responsible for keepin(p

I report on the accounts of Faizan -E- Mustsfa for the year ended 31 March 2025 set out on pages 2 to I l.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and independent examiner
The charity'5 trLlStee5 are responsible for the preparation of the accoiints. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is
not required for this year {under section 144 of ihe charities act ?0 I l ) and that an independent examination is needed.
Having satisfied ourself that the charity is not subject to an audit under company law and is eligible for independent
examination,it is our responsibility to
examine the accounts (under section 145 of the 2011 Act) . to follow the
procedures laid dowi in the General Dirctions given bv the Charitv Commission (under section 145 (5) {b) of ihe 2011
Act ); and to state wether particular matters have come to our attention.
Basis of independent examiner's statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity, Commission.
examination includes a revieiv of the accounting records kept by ihe charity and a comparison of the accounts presented
with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking
explanation5 from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is giN'en as to whether the accounts present a
'true and fair view, and the report is limited io those matters set out in the statement below.

Accounting policies
The principal accounting policies are summarised below. The accounting policies have been applied consistently
throughout the year and the preceding year.
Basis of accounting
The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Statement
of Recommended Practice 'Accouniing and Reporting by Chariiies, SORP and the Charities Act 2011.
Incoming resources
All incoming resources are included in the statement of financial activities when the charity is entitled to the
income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accurdcy. The followryng specific FKTrlicie5 are applied to
particular categories of income..
Voluntary income is received by way of grants, donations and gifts and is included in full in the statement of
financial activities when receivable. Grants where entitlement is not conditional on the delivery of a specific
perfomiance by the charity, are recognised when the charity becomes unconditionally entitled to the grant.
Donaled services and facilities are included at the value to the charity Nthere this can be quanlified. The value of
services provided by volunteers has not been included.
Gifts donated for resale are included as incoming resources within activities for generating funds when they are
sold.
Income from investments is included in the year in which it is receivable.
1.3. Resource5 expended
Expenditure is recognised on an accrual basis as a liability is incurred. Expenditure includes any VAT which
cannot be fully recovered, and is reported as part of the expenditure to ￿thIch it relates.
Costs of generating funds comprise the costs associated with attracting voluntary income and the cost5 of trading
for fundraising purposes including the charity's shop.
Charitsble expenditure comprises those costs incurred bv the charity in the delivery of its activities and services
for its beneficiaries. It includes both costs that can be allocated directly to such activilies and those costs of an
indirect nature necessary to support them.
1.4. Tangible fixed assets and depreciatlOD
Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less accurnulated depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated
to write off the cost less residual value of each asset over its expected usefill life, as follows=
