## **SaMM TRUSTEES REPORT June 2024** 

_Key points for SaMM trustees June 2024_ 

SaMM continues to provide a wide range of musical ensembles for age-groups 6 – 18 yrs old. 

Student numbers have increased steadily, and SaMM is averaging attendance of 80 students every Saturday. 

Finances are in good shape, with the continuing annual grant from the Devon Music Hub and income from parents through fees and donations ensuring a healthy balance sheet. 

The trustees want to express their thanks to KEVVIC for their ongoing support over many years.

## **Saturday Morning Music** 

The finance summary for the year 2022 - 2023 shows a continued security and skillful administration of finances and funding for the SaMM charity. 

The end of year balance shows sustained good management of expenses and liabilities in the wake of post-Covid funding. The organisation has shown a small increase in income and also has been able to retain the local authority funding and gain small awards from the local town council. 

I am reassured that this valuable local arts resource is on a trajectory of gradual and sustained growth.
