MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE YEAR
stokenchurch Scout and Guide Headquarters was established as a charity in November 2007, with the express
purpose of building and maintaining a headquarters building for use by 181 Stokenchurch Scout Group and
Girlguiding Stokenchurch. After major fundraising efforts, the building was officially opened on 23 April 2011.
Stokenchurch Scout and Guide Headquarters is a trust estsblished under a Trust Deed dated g October 2007. Two
trustees are appointed by 14t Stokenchurch Scout Group. and two trustees are appointed by Girlguiding
Stokenchurch. An independent Chairperson was appointed by these trustees, and was duly 6lected to chair the
Management Committee.
The Trustees and Management Commlttee have all done their part to aid smooth runnlng, wlth the benefit of few
changes to the membership. The Trustees pass on their grateful thanks to all those (seen and unseen) who
contlnue to support the provision of the building which is used by so many young pe¢¥)le each week.
The building has been in full use throughout the reporting period, after the end of all limitstlons caused by Covid.
Following the closure of th8 Children's Centre. Bucks Council Children's Serrfices team have been maklng full use
of the facilities. As well as office spa￿, this team are able to make extensive use of the main hall, and ancillary
facilities, to run training courses and host other meetings. This activty level contlnues to increase.
Wth a target to work to 'Net Zero., we installed a 1 OKW array of solar panels in December 2022, which are already
making a significant power generation contributs'on. We acknowledge North West Chilkms Community Board for
their generous grant to support this project.
The Trustee report and accounts for the year ended 31 March 2023 were approved by the Management Committee
at thelr meeting on 18 January 2024.

As the tharitys trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the r4uirements of the Charities Act 2011
(Yhe Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Ad and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the ACL

examinerfs statement come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
