OBJECTSTHE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE COMPANY IS FORMED ARE TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN MEDIA EDUCATION BY:3.1  DEVELOPING AND PROVIDING SUITABLE TRAINING IN THE SUBJECT AREA;3.2  PROVIDING AN AUTHORITATIVE MEDIUM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHING SKILLS AND RESOURCES IN MEDIA EDUCATION; AND 3.3  ENABLING WIDER AND INCREASED COMMUNICATION AMONG INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS INVOLVED IN EDUCATION IN GENERAL.

**Activities:** Members receive regular e-mailed newsletters. Membership is free. MEA members' expertise is made available through joint research activities with other educational bodies. Results are accessible via the MEA website. By its representation on other bodies MEA contributes to the wider media education constituency.
