Trustees Annual Report

for the year ending 5[th] April 2026

1. Establishment and Purpose

Central Eurasian Partners was established by a Trust Deed dated 7 March 2007. The charity’s main purpose is to provide financial and other support for our Christian partners for their mission work in many Eastern European countries.

2. Trustees and Officers

During the year the following served as Trustees:

The number of Trustees may not be fewer than three or more than eight. The appointment and removal of Trustees is vested in the existing Trustees.

3. Address

The principal address of the charity is Central Eurasian Partners, 3 Albert Illsley Close, Reading RG31 5PJ.

4. Objects and Main Activities

The objectives of the charity are the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other charitable purposes as the Trustees may from time to time decide as shall be exclusively charitable. To achieve this object, the main activities are:

5. Public benefit

The Trustees have complied with the duty (set out in Section 4 of the Charities Act 2006) to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission. The Trustees consider that public benefit is provided by the focus of the donations on education and training, relief of poverty and community development, together with religious activities.

6. Specific activities during the year, assisted by our donations, included:

The charity has strong ties with locally based people who are able to speak local languages, and with whom the Trust maintains regular contacts with projects which we support, and with people in need. Staff based in Eastern Europe also visit British donors several times a year to keep donors and the Board appraised of how their money is being used. In addition, we once again held an annual CEP conference at which activity reports were given showing how donations were being used and future needs prioritised.

8. Donations and charitable gifts

Donations to the charity in the year 2025-26, totalled £78,886.90 compared to £102,213.28 in the previous year. Charitable gifts to mission partners in the year amounted to £74,608,69.

9. Reserves

The Trustees do not aim to maintain a general reserve beyond the requirement to provide a reasonable level of working capital or for emergency requirements. If any significant accumulation of such funds were to occur, giving to Partners would increase accordingly.

10. Risk Assessment

The Trust exists to benefit the promotion and encouragement of Christian holistic mission work overseas. The major source of income to the Trust is from donations from individuals and churches in Britain. The Trustees consider that the greatest risk to its ability to continue its activities is that donations would diminish. Were income to decrease substantially, the Trust would have to reduce the level of its financial help to Partners.

Regarding the risk of losses arising from dishonest activities or negligence on the part of officers or Trustees, the Trustees consider that internal check procedures already in place provide reasonable assurance.
