The last year has been increasingly successful with much recovery taking place following a difficult post-covid period. We have been given a large bequest of funds which will be used to fund an improvement in our community space, offering larger space and more activities. Our numbers are constantly increasing and so we are delighted to be working towards being able to accommodate them, as well as offering a tangible space from which to operate our service for young, disabled adults.
We have taken on a Fundraising Manager who is doing very well for us and our team is stable and productive. Having him in place has freed up time from other members of the team to follow up opportunities for publicising our work and ultimately bringing in further funds. Our board of Trustees and Volunteers is very stable.
We are delighted at how well the charity is doing now, following some shaky years during and after the pandemic.
