BARWAQA RELIEF ORGANISATION

Trustees' Report For the year ended 31 May 2023

As the chair lady of Barwaqa, I am immensely proud of our organization's work within the local community. Over the past five years, I have been actively involved in numerous projects facilitated by our organization. Since its establishment in 2003, Barwaqa has been dedicated to serving the community, particularly in Ealing and throughout West London.

Our activities encompass a wide range of areas aimed at supporting and empowering young people. From educational initiatives to recreational activities, we strive to provide opportunities for growth and development. Our projects include youth education programs, sports activities, and initiatives focused on empowering young individuals to reach their full potential.

Additionally, we offer valuable resources and support for individuals facing various challenges, including unemployment and navigating the benefits system. Through advice, guidance, and skills training, we aim to equip adults with the tools they need to succeed in today's job market. Services such as CV writing assistance and job search support are provided to those in need, enabling them to secure employment opportunities.

Furthermore, Barwaqa serves as an advocate for the BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) community, representing their interests and concerns to local authorities. We strive to ensure that the voices of marginalized groups are heard and respected, fostering inclusivity and equality within our community. Each year, we organize community events and initiatives that bring people together, fostering a sense of unity and belonging. These events serve as platforms for collaboration, celebration, and mutual support, strengthening the bonds within our community.

Thank you, Regards Mrs Bashir, chairlady

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPEORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 May 2023

I report on the accounts of Barwaqa Relief Organisation for the year ended 31 May 2023, which are set out on page 4 to 8.

respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under the section 145 of the Charities Act:

to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act); and

to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

Basic of independent examiner's report

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair' view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

Independent examiner's statement

In the course of any examination, no matter has come to my attention:

(1) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in the any material respect, the requirements:

to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act have not been met or

(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
