Activities

Visits are made to Sri Lanka and courses in Counselling Skills taught to teachers, pastors and nurses. Equipment for schools, nurseries and orphanages has been purchased. A Play therapy room has been built at an orphanage and care mothers have been trained to use this. Music and drama therapy as well as group and individual counselling sessions are used to help the children with emotional issues.

Application Of Incomethe Trustees Must Apply The Income Of The Charity In Furthering The Following Objects ("the Objects")i) To Relieve Sickness And Financial Hardship And To Promote And Preserve Good Health (particularly But Not Exclusively Of Children And Families Affected By The 2004 Tsunami) By The Provision Of Funds, Goods Or Services Es Of Any Kind, Including Through The Provision Of Counselling And Support In Such Parts Of Sri Lanka Or The World As The Trustees From Time To Time May Think Fit;ii) To Advance The Christian Faith In Sri Lanka And In Other Parts Of The World As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit;iii) To Advance Education By Such Means As The Trustees May Consider Appropriate Including (but Not So As To Limit The Generality Of The Foregoing) The Teaching Of The English Language To Children; The Provision Of All-Round Education To Young People To Enable Them To Develop Into Mature And Responsible Adults And The Teaching Of Counselling Skills To Adults In Sri Lanka And In Such Other Parts Of The World As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit And To Fulfil Such Other Purposes Which Are Exclusively Charitable According To The Law Of England And Wales And Are Connected With The Charitable Work Of The Trust.
