|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in the<br>accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|The academic year 2022-2023 was successful,<br>for Cambridge Russian school.<br>Our pupils all pass and received great results<br>for Russian GCSEs exams. Our pupils have<br>received three grade 8’s and twelve grade 9’s.<br>The school has been continuing to provide a<br>wide variety of classes ranging from academic<br>subjects like Russian language and literature,<br>exam courses GCSE and A-level, to vocational<br>subjects like programming, ceramics and<br>Russian dance for students aged 3 to 18, and<br>classes of Russian language for adults. We also<br>offered several classes in Ukrainian for kids<br>who arrived in the past year.<br>Full year school operations have been run<br>smoothly and effectively by our wonderful and<br>very hardworking administrative team – the<br>director Jelena Carter and the senior<br>administrator Marina Olefir, helped by our<br>dedicated duty team.<br>Trustees and administrations held several<br>online and in person meetings during the<br>school year.<br>Halloween party for kids and their parents.<br>been organised before the half term.<br>3rdof December winter concert/performance<br>organized byourjunior drama class.|





|||On December 10, a wonderful and fun<br>traditional Christmas celebration was held at<br>the school for our students and guests of the<br>school. For younger students from 4 to 7 years<br>old we held a Christmas Round Dance with<br>Santa Claus and gifts, and then in the Student<br>Center it was possible to do crafts with school<br>teachers Valentin Rusinov, Svetlana Mellusko,<br>Elena Rodionova, Svetlana Shmeleva and Yulia<br>Lutseeva. Our teachers together created a<br>Christmas nativity scene, made various<br>decorations for the Christmas tree, painted<br>pebbles and decorated cookies. A children’s<br>room was open for the kids, Santa Claus and<br>his elves handed out gifts, held a lottery. The<br>older kids Played board games together with<br>teacher Olga Romanova, and everyone could<br>bring their home-made treats for the Feast.<br>In addition to that, On December 10, our<br>school also organized free Christmas party in<br>Ukrainian, for children who have recently<br>arrived from Ukraine, with the help of our<br>colleagues, teachers from Ukraine: Diana<br>Gaivanyuk, Irina Ustinova and Yulia<br>Orshovskaya.<br>AGM and Trustees election been organised at<br>school. 27/05/23<br>Open Day at our school on June17th for new<br>kids and parents.<br>Annual BBQ organised by Trustees for parents<br>and kids 01/07/23.|

We offered<br>money returns and postponed payments for<br>families who’s been more than others affected<br>by cost-of-living crisis. Discounts and subsidies<br>been offered for Ukrainian families and<br>Teachers.|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Cambridge Russian School (CRS)<br>together with the HAF Program in<br>Cambridgeshire organised a summer<br>camp for children from Ukraine. The<br>camp was hosted by St Clements Church,<br>Cambridge. The participants worked on<br>their English, learned to navigate their<br>surroundings, painted in the open air and<br>played games both indoors and outdoors<br>in the nearest park.<br>A big thank you to the teachers from our<br>school and our colleagues from Ukraine<br>for the fact that we managed to launch<br>the camp at such short notice. Special<br>thanks to Suzi Brandes: without her<br>active work on this project, the camp<br>would not have taken place.<br>Various classes presented their work at<br>School’s end-of-year celebration/ Open<br>Day|
