The trustees give their time freely and receive no remuneration or other financial benefit. In selecting trustees we will seek to identify people who have expressed an interest in assisting the charity; and its aims and objectives. ## **Activities and Objectives** The charity objectives are set out in the charity’s trust deed and are summarised as follows:- - To assist the victims of natural and other disasters; - To provide assistance to people suffering financial hardship or in poverty struggling to obtain the essentials of life. ## **Achievement and Performance** During the year the majority of the funds were spent in supporting orphans and water projects. ## **Finance review and Reserves policy** It is the charity’s policy to hold minimum reserves and to distribute funds as soon as suitable projects are identified. Reserves may be accumulated to fund larger projects.
