Trustees Annual Report year ending September 2025
Tiggers has been operating now for twenty years, providing the opportunity for those with autism to access British Gymnastics trampolining. Over the years it has grown into a charity giving support for so many families living with autism, not just trampolining, but also a holiday programme giving access to facilities for the whole family, providing a safe place for families to come, share experiences and be accepted.
Volunteers are always needed and we desperately need more coaches. The sense of pride you gain in our members is wonderful, helping them to achieve when they struggle with sports or exercise. If you have time, please think about volunteering.
It took time and effort to build the facilities we have here today that have been enjoyed by so many, and this was all done by parents. It is now time for younger parents to take on those roles. Knowledge of autism is more widespread in the twenty years that we have been operating. However, parents still face difficulties with diagnosis and support and our facilities are needed more than ever. Tiggers is a special place and we need you to help that continue.
A full financial report for the financial year October 2024 to September 2025 will be available to everyone by looking on the charity commission website from 30th July.
Our total income for the year amounted to £ 40,204.23, our total expenditure amounted to £ 42,915.55.
We want to say a big thank you to all our members who continue to support us through, what for everyone, are challenging times. Tiggers is completely dependent on donations and always need new funding streams and grants. Running costs continue to rise, as does rent.
Our charity continues to be totally reliant on grants, donations, sponsorship and the goodwill of all who support us financially, without which we could not continue to provide activities for our members, and
cover our running costs. Our thanks goes to all for continuing to support us. The Three Guineas Trust again awarded us funding to provide a variety of days out and holiday activities for members.
We also received a grant from The National Lottery Awards for All funding. This covered our rent for just under 10 months. During this financial year we received donations from Glasdon, Beaverbrooks, The Warton Show Singers, and specific donations from the families of some of our past and present Tiggers members. In addition we also received funds via CAF, and other general donations and our charity collection boxes.
Our appreciation and thanks goes to everyone who financially supported Tiggers.
