Activities

The AFRICAN/CARIBBEAN SUPPORT GROUP provides Advice, Information and Advocacy services, providing practical and emotional support to some 90 families living in Newham (areas of high deprivation). We support over 200 adults, children and young people each year. We also provide Social and Learning activities and offering holiday for disabled children and young people.

Objects: 1) To Relieve Poverty By Working With The Local Community To Raise Awareness Of The Needs And Services Of Disabled Children And Young People Within The Borough.2) To Relieve And Alleviate The Conditions Of Life Of Disabled Children, Young People And Their Carers Within The Borough By Assisting In The Development Of Better Resources And Facilities.3) To Promote, Supplement And Support The Provision Of Education And Information About Services For Disabled Children And Their Carers To Both Statutory And Voluntary Service Providers.
