Hackney Proms promotes family friendly, accessible, classical music concerts. Our concerts, often on Sunday mornings, are relaxed and informal. We have attracted young players with an international reputation. This year we are extending the range of our music and attracting an even wider audience.

Objects: To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Hackney And The Surrounding Area The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.to Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.to Advance The Education Of The Public Of All Ages In The Subject Of Musical Appreciation And Encourage Public Participation
