ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE Charitable activities We have continued the Helping the Community with Music project funded by the National Lottery providing music and a meal for the local community and work for local musicians. This continues to be a very popular with the local community and we potentially could increase the amount of people benefitting with a bigger venue but for the time being we have the funding from the National Lottery until the current grant ends in July 2026. Due to increased social media content, we have had an increase from people regarding lessons from parents schooling their children at home and from those with anxiety, autism and other conditions asking for lessons. Beaverbrooks Charitable trust and the staff from Beaverbrooks have raised and donated money for the school by doing events with us. a marathon run and helping us with various things around the school by donating their staff s time. They have been wonderful and we thank them for all their help. GlasdonlDJ Sidebottom grant was used for 20 students to access RSL online learning and to enable grading for children with socio-economic issues or learning issues. This was achieved with students taking grades debut - grade 5 exams and we thank them for their contribution. FINANCIAL REVIEVV Reserves policy The trustees aim to keep the reserrfes of the charity sufficient to cover six months of resource. The charity currently operates with minimal reserves, with no specific investments other than bank accounts. The trustees will try to increase the level of reserves. It will also, through advertising, social media, increase students into the school. The charity nonnally has an annual Variety Show fund raiser in winter term. Page 1
