TRUSTEES REPORT
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2025
The trustees present Iheir annual report and Iinancial statements for the year ended 31 Marth 2025.
The accounts have been prepared in accordance vrith the accwnting policies set out in note 1 to the accounts
and compty with the charity's goveming d0cun￿nt, the Charities Act 2011 Ihe Stalement of Recommended
Practice, 'A(￿UntIng and Repo￿ng by Charities" issued in March 2005.

The charty's objects are providing fa(ilities for recreation other leisure time occupation wth the objecl ot
improving the conditions of life of those Fersons who have need of such facilities ty reason of thew youth, age,
infirmity or disablement. financial hardship or social ar¥J econOrn￿ circumstances. The policies adopted in
furtherance of these objects are to provide coMmer￿al premises to hokl e￿its aryj classes and there ha5 been
no thange in these during Ihe year.
The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity C￿nmiSsion in decidlng wh* activities the
charity should undertake.
Achievements and perforniance
Close attention is paid to the actim1￿$ held at the ￿ntre and encourage maximum partldpatlon.
Flnanclal rovlèw
The progress during Ihe year and the posiiion at year end 31 Marth 2014 is considered satisfaclory.
It is the policy of the Gharity that unresltided funds thich ha¥E not been designated for a specific use should be
maintained al a level equivalent lo between three and six month's expenditure. TtrE ITUStees consider that
reserves at this level will ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in funding. Ihey will be able to continue the
charity's Current acÉivitEs W￿le consideration is gtven to ways in which additional fvnds may be raised. This level
of resetves has been mainlairEd throughout the year.
The tnjstees have assessed the major risks lo which the charity is exposed, and are sabsfied Ihat systems are in
place to mitigate exposure to the major risks.
Structure, governance and management
The Charity was estabknshed by a charitable trust deed on 20th June 21x13.

1.1 Accountlng convèntlon
The financial slalements have been prepared tn accordaniz with the charivs [goveming docLsmentl, the
Charities Ad 2011. FRS 102 Yhe Financial Reporting Standard applicab]e in UK and Republic of
Ireland" {°FRS 102) and the CharitÈes SORP "ACCO￿t￿)g ar¥J Reports'ng by Charities: Statement ol
Recommended Practi￿ applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordan￿ wilh the Financial
ReportirwJ Standar(i ap￿Icable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102). (effeclive 1 January 2019). The
charity is a Public Benefrt Entity as defined by FRS 102.
The charity has taken advantage of the pro￿￿on$ in the SORP for thaniies not to prepare a Slatarenl of
Cash Flows.
The financial stalements have departed from the Chariti'es (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 onty to
Ihe extent ￿qUIred to provide a tNe arKI fair view. This departure has involved following the Statement of
Recommended Practice for charities applyiro FRS 102 rather Ihan the version of the Statement of
Recommended Practice which Is referred to in the Regulations but vA)tth h&8 since been withdra￿.
The financial slatements are prepared in sterfing, whi(* is the functional wrrency of the ¢harity. Monetary
amounts in these financial staternents are rounded to the [￿are$l £.
The finanaal slatemenls have been prepared under the historical cost convention, {modFfied lo indude Ihe
revalu8lion of freehold propertÉes and to irtlude investment properties and certan financial inslrunents at fair
Valuel. The prinripal accounting policies adopted are set oul below.
1.2 Golng concorn
At the time of apwoving Ihe finanaal statements. the trustees have a reasonable expectation thal the charity
has adequate resources lo conlinue ￿7 operational existen￿ for the foreseeable future. Thus the tr￿tee5
continue to adopt the going cOn￿M ￿S of accounting in preparfng the fjnancaal stateffEnts.
1.3 Charltable funds
Unrestricted funds are available for use at the disuelion of the truslees in lurtherance of their charitable
objectives.

Income is Tecognised when the charity is legalty entitled to it after ary perfom)ance conditions have been met,
the amounts can be measured ielk8bly. and it is probable that income will tE received.
Cash donations are recognised on receipt. Other donations are recognised once Ihe charity has been notified
of the donation. unless performance conditK)ns reqU￿e deferral of the amounl. Income tax recoverable in
rdation to donations received under GiftAid or deeds of covwarrt is recognised at the time of the donation.
Legacies are recognised on receipt or otherwse rf the tharity has been notified of an impending dislribution,
the amount is known. and receipt is expected. If the amourrt is not known, the I￿acY is treated as a
contingent asset.

1.5 Expondlture

Expendilure is dassified by activty. The ¢osts of each actmty are made up of the total of dire£t costs and

Tangible fixed assets are initially ffEasured at Cost and subsequenty measured at cost or valuation, net of
dep￿ciall0n and any impairnient losses.

1.8 Flnanclal Instruments
The chanty has elected lo appty the provisions of Section 11 'Basi¢ Financial Instruments. and Secb'on 12
'other Financial Instruments Issues, of FRS 102 lo all of its ffinanaal instwments.
Financial instruments are rer•ognised in the ¢hanty's balance sheet ￿en the ¢harity becomes party to the
contractual provisions of the instrument.
Financial assets and liabilities are offset: with the net amoutts presented in ts finanaal stalemenls. when
Ihere Is a legally enforceable right to set off the recognised amounts and there Is an intenlion to settle on a net
basis or to realise the asset and settle the liabity sinultaneiwsly.

Basic financial assets, V4hith indude deblors and cash and bank balarmx, are initially measured at
transaction price induding transaction costs and are subsequentty carried at amortised cost using the effective
interest method unless the arrangement constitLrtes a financing Iransaclion, where the transaction is
measured al the present value of the fvrture receipts discounted at a market rate of interest. Finanaal assets

Tfade credilors are obligations to pay lor goods or ser¥ices that have been acquired in the ordinary course of
operations from suppliers_ Amourrts payable are dassified as current liabililies if payment Is due within one
year or less. If nol. they are presented as non-currenl liatmIFt￿s. Trade ￿e￿[tOrS are recognised initially at
transaction price and subsequently measured at amortised cost using ￿ effective nterest method.

received.
Termination beneffts are recognised immediately as an exP￿￿e wwt Ihe tharity is demonstrably committed
lo terminate the employw£nt of an employee or to provide temiination beneffts.
