Since then our service has grown to work across more areks of deprivation iii Leicester. Leicestersliire and Derby, supporting hundreds of vulnerable young people every year. We specialise in supporting vulnerable girls aged 11-18 to develop their self-esteem and form positive and ei)Ipoweriiig relationships by delivering Love4Life groups, one40￿neS and workshops in secondary scliools and iii tlie comtnunity. Love4Life delivers tsrgeted relationship and sex education lo support young people facing diffiGulties in ihese areas. All of our work embeds positive self-worth, body image and the handling of emotions in order to help a young person beconie more resilient. These session5 take place either in scliool or in a safe spaoe in Ili¢ eommuiiity. Love4Lif¢ Groups -small weekly groups with a maximum of12 young people. A safe social space where they feel supported alongside a group of young people with sirnilar experiences. Our Love4Life groups offer fun, creative activities and group discussion as 8 means to explore important topics. Public beiiefil These activities benefit young people aged 11-18 who are disadvantaged or vulnerable within 50CLety. Trustee Annual Report: 2024k2025 Over the ¢our5¢ of 2024-2025, Love4Life has continued to respond to signiftcant demand for our services across Leicestershire, Leicester. and Derby. Thanks to ihe dedication and expertise of our siaff team, our reach has grown, our support has deepened. and our reputation as a irusied youih organisation has flourished. The needs of the young people we support remain l)oth urgent and complex. Wilh ststutory services under immense strain, many young people are waiting up 10 a year for support. In ihe meanlime. they face challenges including mental health con¢erns, family pressures, academic difficuliies, and the pervasive impact of social media. Our role has never been more vital. We are proud to report a significant expansion in our delivery throughout the year. We ran 17 Love4Life groups across our delivery areas, including the launch of a new group in Leicesler. Some existing group5 relo¢aied lo better se￿¢ local communities. Our intentionally small group sizes allow us to provide focused. tailored support and we've worked hard to ensure excellent attendance across all locations. In total. 318 young people participated in our group work. while 288 received l-to-l support, meaning we directly supported 587 young people over the year. By Irackiijg outcomes over time. we aim to gain a clearer picture of how our 5UPPOrt shapes the ￿t￿reS of the young people we serve. Our first findings will be available next year. and we are excited to share whal we learn. Expanding Education and Outreach Our Relationship and Sex Education (RSE) provision has grown significantly and is playing an increasingly important role in raising awareness of Love4Life. These workshops are equipping more young people with the tools they need to make positive, infomied decisions. They also support the sustsinability of our work by contributing to a more diverse fundraising strategy. CSE, Abuse & Consent HolidAy Events and Social Connection Our holiday events programme continues to thrive. These aclivities provide an essential bridge for young people to slay connected, build friendships. and apply ihe skills they've developed in gmup and l-to- I settings. Over the year, we delivered 19 activity days ranging from bowling and laser qu¢sl to creative sessions like stone painting and plant making. Tl)ese events offer niuch-needed joy and connection, particularly for youiig people who may otherwise feel isolated during school break5. Sustainable Growth and Fundraising With our services expanding, so loo must our fundraising efforts. This year saw the successful implementation of a full calendar of community fundraising events. helping us build relationships, incr¢a5e visibility, and access new fui)ding streams. While grants and trusts rernain our core income. reducing reliance on Iliem is key lo building a more resilient financial future. A key priority for the coming year is increasing delivery capacity in Leicester. We plan to appoint a second youth worker, brinoing the team in line with our other regions.
