AL-MADAD TRUST CHARITY NUMBER 1120543 REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2025 The trustees present their report together with the financial statements of the charity for the yeat ended 31. March 2025. The trustees confirn] that the financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out on page 6 and comply with the charity's trust deed, the Charities Act 2011 and the Charities SORP 2005. Reference and Administration information The Charity was founded in 2007 and is registered with the Charity Commission under charity number 1120543. Details of the charity's trustees, the principal address of the charity and details of the Charity's advisers are given on page l. Structure Governance and Mana ement:_ Governin Document The Al-madad Trust charity is constituted under a trust deed. anisational Mana ement The board of trustees administer the charity. The Board meets regularly and the meetings cover the strategic development and planning, financial monitoring and planning human resources. Ob ects The objects of the charity are to uplift the living conditions of needy people and communities in developing countries, through the provision of infrastructure developments such as houses, schools, clinics, roads, wells, civic education, ambulances, transportation capacity, building skills and trade, empowement of women, mcn and children in those communities so that they can manage the projects and charity also works locally. INDEPEIYDENT EXAMINER REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF AL-MADAD TRUST CHARITY NUMBER 1120543 Report to the trustees of AL-MADAD TRUST on accounts for the year ended 31. March 2025, which are set out on pages 3 to 6. Res ective Res onsibilities of Trustees and Inde endent Examiner As the Charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. you consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts under section 145 of the 201 l Act follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners under section 145 (5) (b) of the 2011 Act and state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of Inde endent Examiner's Statement My examination was carried out in accordance with the fjeneral Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review ot. the accounting records kept by the Charity and a coniparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in a full audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts. Inde endent Examiner's Statements In connection with my examination, no matters have come to my attention. l. Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 130 of the 2011 Act to prepare accounts which accord with these accounting records have not been met or 2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
