YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2024
The trustees present their report together with the financial statements of the charity
for the year ended 31, March 2024. The trustees confimi that the financial statements
have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out on page 6 and
comply with the charity's trust deed, the Charities Act 201 l and the Charities SORP
2005.

The Charity was founded in 2007 and is registered with the Charity Commission
under charity number 1120543. Details of the charity's trustees, the principal address
ot" the charity and details ot'the Charity's advisers are given on page l.

The Al-madad Trust charity is constituted under a trust deed.

The board of trustees administer the charity. The Board meets re&¥ularly and the
meetingls cover the strategic development and planning, tinancial monitoring and
planning human resources.
Ob'e¢tS
The objects of the charity are to uplift the living conditions of needy people and
communities in developing countries, through the provision of intrastructure
developments such as houses, schools, clinics, roads, wells, civic education,
ambulances, transportation capacity, building skills and trade, empowernient of
women: men and children in those communities so that they can manage the projects
and charity also works locally.

As the Charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. you consider that
an audit is not required for this year under section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act)
and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to
examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act
follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity
Commissioners under section 145 (5) (b) ot'the 201 l Act and
state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Inde
endent Examiner's Statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison
ot. the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration ot'any unusual items or
disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations t.rom you as trustees concerning any such
matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in a full
audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.

In connection with my examination, no matters have come to my attention.
l. Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements
to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 130 of the 2011 Act
to prepare accounts which accord with these accounting records have not been met

2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding
of the accounts to be reached.

ACCOUNTING POLICIES
The financial statements have been prepared under the charities Act 201 l on the historical
cost convention and in accordance with applicable accounting standards, the Financial
Reporting Standard for smaller Entities and the statement of recommended practice on
Accounting and Reporting Charities: the charities SORP 2005.
