Objectives and Activities- Summa of Ob"ertives: To advance the spiritual, personal welfare of young adults and young families through various programs and activities and lead them to a life which would enhance the harmony of communities. Summa of the main artivities Each year our trustees review our objectives and activities to ensure that they continue to reflect our aims. In carrying out this review the trustees have considered the charity commissions, general guidance on public benefit. So all the current year initiatives involved some forms of prayers and talks to build the faith and encourage the education of young adults and supported the young couples in leading good family life. For this the charity used workshops, small talks, training programs, newsletters, formation programmes and the national conference. The charity welcomed all young people regardless of any race, religion and cultural backgrounds. Additional details of ob"ectives and activities The success of the trust is the contribution given by its members - their skills, expertise, time and money. Achievements and Performance Trustee Meeting The trustees of the charity are responsible for the general management and control of the charity. To assist in the smooth running of the charity the trustees have set up a National Council consisting 8 elected members and 6 ex-officio/nominated members to help them oversee various aspects of charity's work. The management of the trust is done by the trustees and the National Council collectively. National Council members meet virtually every three months to evaluate the activities and develop plans.

Finance Policy The trustees drafted and accepted a finance policy for the charity during the year. Marian Voyage 2023 During the month of October JYUK facilitate 24 hours rosary in different parts of UK. The dedicated team of volunteers found 31 places in UK and through members and non members of Jesus youth they were able to continuously pray for the country and various needs of the people. In conclusion of this voyage Jesus Youth UK organized its national annual pilgrimage to Walsingham. Nearly 400 people participated in this pilgrimage. Teens Ministry Teens ministry were able to conduct a number of programs during this year. This include, initial encounter program, program focused in developing the musical skills of teenagers, charism retreat for teens and the teens ministry started a three year formation for selected teenagers. All programs were conducted by leaders who have cleared their DBS. There are regular monthly gathering happens in number of places in UK and this given opportunity for young leaders to grow in faith. Few of the teenagers started attending a 3 year training program from Ascent. There is a dedicated team who look after teens ministry in the national level. All who are working in teens ministry attend the safeguarding training. Youth Ministry There are number of prayer groups focussed to youth are happening in different parts of UK. A dedicated team help in building the youth ministry. This year, they conducted a 10 days formation for the young people to develop their wholistic formation. All of the participants are actively volunteering in their Universities and also reaching out to other groups. Few retreats happened for the international students in universities Family Ministry Jesus Youth UK got nearly 20 family prayer groups happens on a regular basis. The national family team also meet on a regular basis and prepare plans for the enriching of Jesus Youth families. A retreat focused for young couples happened in the month of July. Awakening 2024 The 100 days Eucharistic Adoration is an initiative which is a great way of creating an opportunity for people to spend time in front of Eucharistic Adoration. There is a dedicated team who look after this initiative regularly and also support Marian voyage.

Enroute 2023 Over the years Jesus Youth were able to bring more people to the Lord through Eucharistic Lord. This year, a small group of young people made a 5 day Eucharistic processions during November in a van with the presence of a priest around various parts of England and Wales. The focus was reaching out to Universities and the team was able to succeed in this. Looking forward for the same processions in the coming year. Monthly Intercession Every first Saturday of the month is dedicated as national intercession day. Few members come to Sheffield centre and spend time in front of Eucharistic Lord. There is also opportunity for people to join through zoom. Also the intercession team post daily messages in whatsapp and which is been seen by a bigger number of people and they pray for all the causes. This ministry stand as the backbone ministry. Re-commitment Day Pentecost day is celebrated as a day for renewing the commitment to the movement and also time for new members to make commitment. This year it happened on 24th May. Nearly 300 people attended in various physical gathering happened in different parts of UK. There was two virtual gathering and altogether 400 people took commitment or recommitment from all three events. Formation Program Formation is the backbone of Jesus Youth movement. There are teams working for Philip, Paul. Emmaus and Stewardship courses. In fact one of the courses used to happen in alternate months and many are taking serious studies in forming their inner spiritual being. The study groups happens regularly and formation team make all efforts for the execution of all activities of formation. Retreats Also during this year, Ihe national leam arranged opportunity for its members to attend different retreats to slreng7then their faith journey. Few of them were conducted as residential and there was t.ew other short day retreats happened in local areas. Reconstitution of the Ne team National assembly is planning to take place during this winter, M,hich select a new team for the national council and also for the other national teams..
