Activities
BATCA is a local voluntary group that draws in people from all backgrounds. Our vision is to support and strengthen our community through taking an interest in local issues and finding ways for people from across the community to come together to do things they enjoy. BATCA organises enjoyable events including fun days, interfaith events, sports events and discussions on local themes.
Objects: C. Objects / Aims The Charity's Objects ("the Objects") Are:1. To Advance Religious Harmony By Increasing Mutual Understanding And Respect Between People From Different Religions Or Beliefs Systems And Promote Racial Harmony For The Benefit Of The Residents Of Balham & Tooting, In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By Promoting Community Cohesion;2. To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Balham And Tooting Without Distinction As To Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation With The Objects Of Improving Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants;3. To Establish And Maintain A Community Association For The Purposes Of The Above; And 4. To Support Any Other Charitable Purpose As The Trustees Deem Fit From Time To Time.
