THE ASSOCIATION IS ESTABLISHED TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN LOCAL HISTORY AND THE ARTS, PARTICULARLY BY THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATIONAL MUSICAL CONCERTS, THE PRODUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL PLAYS AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS, INCLUDING THE ARTS OF MUSIC, BALLET, SINGING, DRAMA, MIME, DANCING  AND TO FORMULATE, PREPARE AND ESTABLISH SCHEMES THEREFOR, IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOREGOING OBJECTS.
