To relieve the suffering of greyhounds who are in need of care
and protection and in particular by providing and maintaining or
assisling in the provision and maintenance of kennels and
other faciliiies forlhe reception and care of greyhounds who
are relired and unwanted or who are otherwise in need of care
and prolection; to place in such permanent homes as the
trustees may consider appropriate.
In practice, the area of benefrt is national and overseas
(generally Spain and Ireland).

We provide financial contributions to 3 shelters rescuing
greyhounds:
G￿YhOUnd Rescue. Boston, Lincolnshire (UK)." around 25
g￿yhOunds.
Limerick Animal Welfare (I￿land}.. approx. 20 greyhounds.
SPA Scooby, Medina del Campo (Spain) rescuing 300 to 400
greyhounds ('galgos? p.a..
Our income is generated fflainly from financial donations and
sales of donated items at communtiy events, car boot sales
and on eBay. Our aciivities focus on Ihe care and protection.
and relief of suffering. of rescued greyhounds,. as well as the
maintenance of their kennel facilities. We have used our
income to contribute towards the cost of the following in the
period under ￿VIew..
SPA Scoob Repair of vehicle. In October 2023 SPA Scooby's
Iveco Daily vehicle was involved in a road accident. The
vehicle is used to rescue and transport galgos to homes. In the
accident the vehicle sustained a broken chassis. In spite of no
guilt on behalf of the SPA Scooby driver, the insurance
company only partially covered the Iveco invoice. A
Greyhound Compassion donor kindly donated a substantial
part of our contribution to the repair bill. Thankfully the donation
put the vehicle back on the road and the much needed rescue
and homing work resumed in April 2024.
Limerick Animal Welfare.. Vet fees forthree greyhounds.. two of
them needed wound repair for serious injuries and one had a
broken leg needing a bone graft.
hound Rescue.. Plumbing repalrs in kennels., dog food;
and vet fees for 4 g￿yhOundS - medication, denta5 extractions
and descale, vaccinations and andrological surgery.
We collected donated dog food, bedding and towels which the
Trustees transported at own cost to Greyhound Rescue in
Boston.
We are grateful to Pets In Need Animal Food Bank for
sizeable donations of dog food for Greyhound Rescue, Boston.
We refer applications for adoptions to Greyhound Rescue (UK
ex-racing greyhounds) and to SPA Scooby (Spanish galgos).
We help wtih adoption assessmenls and ￿scue back-up
advice.

Our fund-raising approach ensures we maximise our
potential income from the sales of donated goods, trying
different mathets, and keeping expenses to the
minimum. Having derived the most optimal income
possible, we target our funds directly to tangible needs in
the care and protection of the greyhounds in Ihe shelters
we support.. veterinary and medication costs, kennel and
facilities improvementslrepair. dog food bills as well as
freshing bedding & towe15 Wlth good quality donated
Tiems. The specific impacts forlhe period under review
are detailed above in Ihe Objeclives & Activities section.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trusy.) for the year ended 31108 12024.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have

NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS
The statement of financial activrties includes all gains and losses recognised in the period.
All incoming resources and resources expended derive from continuing adivities.
Investment income is recognised on a receivable basis.
The value of services provided by volunteers is not incorporated into these financial statements.
Trustees receive no remuneration from the CIO. No expenses were paid to Trustees during the period.
If the CIO is wound up, the liabilrty of each Trustee is limited to £10.
