**Activities:** To relieve the suffering of greyhounds who are in need of care and protection and in particular by providing and maintaining or assisting in the provision and maintenance of kennels and other facilities for the reception and care or greyhounds who are retired and unwanted or who are otherwise in need of care and protection; to place greyhounds in homes as the trustees consider appropriate.
