They are comprised of the chair, deputy chair, secretary, treasurer and a member. 2. Objectives and activitios 2.1 Charitable Purpose: To worship the Lord our God and creator, preach and spread the Gospel in our own God-given Oromo language, Afaan Oromoo, and to provide holistic seNice to fellow Oromos and others. 2.2 Summary of Activities 2.21 Conducting regular Sunday Worship programmes at our current address at Westgreen Baptist ChUh. Westgreen Road London N15 SAF. 2.22 Helping to instil Christ character in individuals, marriages and in families through regular, systematic Bible study prayer sessions. 2.23 Leading every person to put hislher faith in Christ as Savoir and Lord to love him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. 2.24 Helping each believer discern hislher place of ministry and assist himlher to exercise their spiritual gifts within the fellowship of our Church family. 2.25 In-house training sessions on the use of musi(xl instruments such as the keyboard. 3.OACHIEVMENTS & PERFORMANCE 3.1 Regular Sunday Worshlp and Splrltual Conferences

It also delivered two successful Spiritual conferences - Easter Celebration with special prayerful remembran of our Lord Jesus Christ's crucifixion and resurrection and Christmas Celebration commemorating the birth of Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. 3.2 Baptism We have been greatly blessed as we were able to baptise 4 children and dedicate them to the household of the family of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 3.3 Faith confirmation 5 children and one adult completed their Faith confimiation classes that they attended for over 6 months became communicant members of the Church. 3.4 Holy matrlmony A couple have made their vows and joined in holy matrimony as husband and wife at a wedding ceremony organised by the Church at the end of Novomber 2023 and were added to the family of the Lord in marriage. 3.5Special Prayer sessions Continued conducting fortnightly fasting and prayer sessions Ihat started in September 2020, an intersession programme for the continued atrocities taking place back home in Oromia regional state, in northern Ethiopia and elsewhere. 3.6Youlh ministry Continued organised youth group Bible Study and prayer sessions that also take place every weeks on Wednesday evenings. 3.7Women ministry Women group of the Church continued regular prayer meetings during which time they organise visits to newly arrived Oromo refugees suffering from isolation and traumas they encountered during their long joumey to reach the UK. 3.8Special Events Celebrated Mothers, Day and Fathers, Day decorated with cultural dresses and special speeches to address the roles of each (mums & dads) in a family life followed by fellowship and social time on both days of the year. Non-church members also invited to both sessions. 3.9 Day Trlp Organised a ratreat session al seaside in which members of the Church and community members bènefited from th8 joy of the social time, sharing the Word of God, singing with the Choir and sharing meal together at seaside., planned to go to Southend in th8 3rd week of July. Unfortunately. this trip was Canlled as some members had to pull out due to an

The trustees have promised hold this event in summer 2024. 3.10 Partnerships The Church is a member of the Union of Oromo Evangelical Churches of Europe and also works closely with West Green Baptist Church where it is based. Three representatives induding the Trustee chair, deputy chair and a member attended the 13th Annual Spiritual Conf6rence of the Union of Oromo Evangelical Churches of Europe held in Stokholm 4-61h August 2023 preceded by the Council meeting on 3rd August. Although this will appear in our subsequent report, our Church has been privilegad to host the 14th Annual Spiritual Conference of the Union from 2nd to 4th August 2024 at Westgreen Baptist Church. N15 SAF here in London. 4.0 PUBLIC BENEFIT The above activities provide significant public benefit in line with the guidanco from the Charities Commission as also described in the objects of the Church's constitution. Services are open to all who originally come from East Africa and speak Oromo Language (Afaan Oromool. Providing regular Sunday worship: T8aching Christian faith through sermons, workshops and small group Bible study sessions as well as Sunday school lessons for the children. 5.0 FINANCIAL REVIEW The total income for the period was £26,880 and the total expenditure for the period was £10,890 and the surplus for the period was £15,990. The main source of funding for the Church is from the regular donations of its members and collections during regular Church services throughout the year. The main outgoing for this financial period is for the rent premises for the regular Sunday ServIS and hall hiring for special events such as Spiritual conferences. The church aims to redaim Gift Aid in the upcoming financial year. Therefore. the Church is expecting some additional income in the next financial year, which is owing from HMRC for this yearfs giving. 6.0 RESERVES POLICY The church's reserves policy is to maintain sufficient free reserves to enable it to meet its short-tenn financial obligations in the evenl of an unexpected revenue shortfall to allow the church to be managed efficiently and to provide buffer to ensure continuity of the activities of th8 Church.
