**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF INHABITANTS OF PORTSMOUTH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AND SUCH OTHER LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES CONTAINED IN THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS IN THE SCHEDULE HERETO BY ASSOCIATING WITH THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** The aim of Street Pastors (Portsmouth) is to contribute towards making Portsmouth a 'kinder, safer city' by providing a service of practical care, friendship and a prayerful presence among people on the streets late at night.   We deploy teams of volunteers drawn from local churches on the city centre streets every friday and saturday night.
