in FebNary, where Sabeel Cohort 8 dew into Ihe area of'maslaha & Maqashy, on the 17th and
18th, uncovering the objectives of Islamic law and its applirAt'on to modem-day issues. Similarfy.
July 2023 saw the sam& cohort engage vAth the cnbc21 tcpic of'usul ￿-KhIlar. providing
parti¢ipanls wrth invaluable inS￿h¢S Into the prinuples of disagreement ￿1h1n the l$lami¢ trad￿"on.
In November. Ihe focus shifted to'usul Al-Bidah', as patbcipants from Sabeel Cohort 8 explored
the principles surroundin9 religiou5 Interpretstion and Innovation over Iwo days Meanwhile.
Sihaab Cohort 6, meeting on the 24th and 25th of February. Imrnersed thernselve5 in the
groundbreaking'usul AkTafsirf topic. gaining a deeper understanding of th8 Qurfanic eK8gesi5

22nd of July, the cohort revisited the Iherne of 'Usul AkBidah'. enriching their comprehension of
religious innovation and understanding. To dose the year, Sabeel Cohort 10 reconvened on the
15th and 18th of December for another session focused on 'Usul Al-Bidah'.
