**Objects:** THE CHARITY'S OBJECTIVES ("THE OBJECTIVES") ARE:-FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:-1.  TO PRESERVE, RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THE FERNHURST FURNACE AND TO CONSERVE THE NATURAL AND MAN MADE FEATURES OF THE SURROUNDING AREA RELEVANT TO ITS ARCHAEOLOGICAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC HISTORY, GEOLOGY AND ECOLOGY; AND2.  TO ADVANCE EDUCATION INCLUDING RESEARCH RELATING TO FERNHURST FURNACE AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF.

**Activities:** To preserve, restore and maintain the Fernhurst Furnace and to conserve the natural and man made features of the surrounding area relevant to its archaeological, social and economic history, geology and ecology andTo advance education including research relating to Fernhurst Furnace and to publish the useful results thereof.
