TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT
We continued to ensure activities in the mosque were in line with local COVID regulations with the aim of protecting our community and limiting any potential risk. This included ensuring face coverings were worn by all attending, adequate ventilation and social distancing. Bangor Islamic Centre has continued to provide antibacterial hand sanitizers and face masks for all attendees who require them.
Activities in the mosque were at times limited depending on current regulations following Welsh Government advice. Charitable work continued throughout the year – collecting and distributing donations to those in need both in our local community and around the world.
We would like to thank everyone in attendance for respecting the regulations and supporting us to prevent any spread of COVID. We would also like to thank all those who have supported and worked on the maintenance of the mosque with repairs, renovations and general maintenance. As well as this, we are grateful for those who took on roles to support a safe environment in our mosque by supervising those
entering & exiting the mosque, advising of regulations and ensuring necessary provisions were available.
Thank you to the local authorities who provided support and visited the premises providing help and advice when required.
