THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO FURTHER SUCH PURPOSES AS ARE CHARITABLE IN ENGLISH LAW FROM TIME TO TIME AND IN PARTICULAR:3.1 FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO PROTECT LIFE IN THE SEA THROUGH MARINE CONSERVATION; AND3.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO MARINE CONSERVATION AND THE PROTECTION OF LIFE IN THE SEA.

**Activities:** Oceana campaigns to protect and restore the world's oceans.  Our teams of marine scientists, economists, lawyers and advocates win specific and concrete policy changes to reduce pollution and to prevent the irreversible collapse of fish populations, marine mammals, and other sea life.
