Providing all-terrain wheelchairs, free to loan, for use on 7 beaches in Thanet inc. Broadstairs, Margate & Ramsgate & the surrounding countryside. The wheelchairs are suitable for anybody with a mobility impairment, young or old who find uneven terrain difficult to traverse. The user must be able to transfer/be transferred without the aid of a hoist & will require a carer to assist/push them.

Objects: 1. Primarily To Relieve The Needs Of People With A Physical Limitation By Supplying, Operating And Maintaining Four All Terrain Wheelchairs Together With Associated Items For Use On Ramsgate Main Beach To Enable Equal Access For People Of All Ages With A Physical Limitation And For Use By Local Organisations And Charities Who Work With People With A Physical Limitation In Order To Enable Them To Both Use The Sands And Enter Shallow Water..and If Further Funds Become Available Then:2.
