**Objects:** 3.  THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

**Activities:** 2nd Balsall Common (Methodist) Scout Group operates one Squirrels pack, two Beaver packs, two Cub packs and two Scout packs.  Each Group meets weekly in school term-time and activities are organised by leaders which allow the pack members to practice skills which result in badges being awarded.  Skills acquired are varied such as swimming, IT, first aid, camping, games.
