in h¢r fjrst year in office. The School 15 gratcfvl for Mr Robcrtson's excellent leadership of the Boverning board oY¢r many
years which has contributed si￿1ifiCan￿Y lo thc wnlinuing $uc¢¢$s of the School.
During th¢ ¢ours¢ of the year the School Tcturned from remote l¢Jrning to in pcr8on t¢achin& And wa8 also abl¢ to gradually
re-introduce a ￿1[ ¢o-¢urricul8r prograt))m< ￿ with other schools. Thc impact of coronavirus on the School ha¥ bcen
$ignificant both for the individuals affected directly and for the pupil body as a whole. We coniinue to monitor the effect on
the physical and rncntal health of members of thc S¢hcol Community. The School ho8 made everyeffort to help those &ffeeted
urn lo a full School life.
During thc second period of national lwkd0￿) in the Spring lerm 2021, we were able to make cost ￿Ving$ which were
passed back to parents by way of a 8Yo fee r¢bal¢ for th¢ ¢m. Parents were, onee agaith, given thc opportunity to donate
thcir fee rebate lo the Hardship Fund and we *c extremely grateful that a further £52,(M)O r8i8ed, including gift aid.
During the year. a total of £133,(K)O of the Fund was distributcd to 18 familie5 and over 25 families were &%si*¢d with f¢¢
payment plah8. Th¢ rcmainin8 fund81£162.0(X)l are being held for future hardship artd bursary applicatio￿ as rcquired.

and staff that the School remains overall in gty)d health with significant Icaming in the delivery of remote luition and support.
Whilst pcriods of lockdown were a challeng¢. w¢ hav¢ aquir¢d valuable knowledge which is alreadybeing applied to remote

Thc indomitable ￿]rit of Paulines proved to be intact on the Tetum to School and we are proud of our pupils for their &uce¢s¥
81 the end of the year. At A Levcl and Pre-u. 77Y• of grade$ awarded were A* lor equiv&lent) and 95% were A* or A lor
equivalenil. At GCSE and IGCSE, 81% of Bradc8 awarded were al Gr8de 9 and 94Q/o were Grade 8 or 9. In 4ddition ¢0

The ¢an¢ellation of public examinations for both 2020 and 2021 re8ulted in a curriculum review bein8 placed on hold. With
the appOInt￿nI of 4 new Director of T¢acbing attd I*arning, this will be a priority for 2021-22.
Comme￿78] lettings will forni part of a renewed (ocus on comme￿Ial income generation now th4t COVID-19 r¢8tri¢tions
have been lifted. e-Technology will be considered as part of the School'& development of its use of intellectual propcrty,
