- policies and procedures adopted for the induction and training of trustees; 

The charity is run by an Executive Council formed by the Trustees and three other volunteers acting as council members. 

- The executive council meets every month to discuss items concerning the charity. Any key decisions to be voted on are included on the Agenda of the forthcoming meeting circulated beforehand for discussion and approval. All meetings are minuted. 

In its monthly meeting, the council usually reviews: 

 the charity’s organizationalReport by Projects Committee on aid programs provided by the charity. Review of Accounts, assessment of the fnances Structure  and  any of the charity, planned or future fund-raising events, wider network with correspondence and communications with the Charity plus which  the  charity any other business are discussed at the meeting. Minutes works; are taken and circulated as a true record of that meeting.

ICIN policy in grant making is for the Projects Committee to undertake a thorough study of a proposed project which is then presented to Council at one of their monthly meetings for discussion and approval.

Once approved, a supervisor, nominated by the local church hierarchy to oversee the distribution of aid funds at the benefciary destination, is identifed and appointed to monitor the project progress, aid distribution and to report back to the charity on a regular basis. The Projects Committee continues to monitor the approved project diligently during the life of the project.

|**during the year**|The Myrrh-Bearers: The Myrrh Bearers Fraternity are<br>consecrated lay   women have taken upon themselves<br>To help the poor and the marginalized families forced to<br>abandon their homes and seek refuge in the north of<br>Iraq.<br>Emergency Medical Aid: This project, established by the<br>Syriac Catholic Church in Erbil, provides fnancial<br>Assistance to those IDPs in need of medical and surgical<br>treatment.<br>Baghdad educational program, this program<br>supports needy students at diferent stages of their<br>education, from<br>Primary school to university level.<br>Our Lady of Carmel School for refuges children in<br>Amman, Jordan providing primary education for over<br>300 refugee children who otherwise will go without<br>schooling.<br>University Students Scholarship: providing fnancial<br>support for needy student to continue their<br>university education at the Catholic University of<br>Erbil, Iraq<br>Critical Medical care: provide help for those needing<br>emergency medical help, in collaboration with<br>Marymana Hospital in Erbil.<br>The Charity celebrated its fourteenth  year.<br>During the years ICIN has increasingly gained the trust<br>of the general public by following a policy of<br>transparency and openness with its fnances and<br>donations received.<br>ICIN  has  also  followed  a  strict  policy  in  its  choice  of<br>projects and grants awards, ensuring at all times that<br>funds  are utilized for the  purpose for which they are<br>intended.<br>Each programmer of aid in closely monitored and is<br>reviewed regularly at Executive council meetings.<br>The charity has adhered to its objective in providing help<br>to the needy displaced Iraqi Christians.<br>The Charity is run by volunteers does not pay any<br>salaries and incurs very little running costs.|
