## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21 The Charity has significantly<br>financial position at the  greater financial assets than in the<br>end of the period pre-COVID period. In part this is<br>due to Government grants during<br>2020 that “primed the pump”<br>giving a level of financial security<br>which allowed us to contemplate<br>an expansion strategy not<br>previously possible.  The<br>availability of in-house cost-share<br>funding allowed us to approach<br>Grant-giving organisation with a<br>greater degree of confidence and<br>credibility.  The resulting<br>expansion of our facilities makes<br>our assets more attractive to<br>potential hall users and has<br>enhanced the stability of our<br>financial position. We are now able<br>to set aside a cash reserve<br>appropriate to the age of the<br>building and the challenges that<br>poses.<br>Statement explaining the Para 1.22 Our building is 170 years old and<br>policy for holding  much of the structure is original.
