Trustees' Report For The Year Ended 30th November 2024
It is with great pleasure we present the annual report and the financial statements for the year ended 30th November 2024. The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice 2005 and other applicable laws.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies and comply with the charity trust deed and the recommendations of the statement of Recommended Practice, Accounting and Reporting by charities and comply with the applicable law.
Structure, Governance and Management
The charity is constituted under a Trust Deed with registered charity number 1119228.
a) Method of Appointment or Election of Trustees
The management of the church is the responsibility of the Trustees who are elected and coopted under the terms of the Trust Deed.
b) Policies Adopted for the Induction and Training of Trustees
The induction process for any newly appointed member of the trustees comprises an initial meeting with the Chair and other Trustees, followed by a series of short meetings with the Minister in Charge on the powers and responsibilities of the Trustees.
c) Organisational Structure and Decision Making
The Charity is organised so that the Trustees meet regularly to manage its affairs There is an administrator/account personnel that handle the daily affairs of the charity.
d) Risk Management
The Trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, in particular those related to the operations and finances of the charity, and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate our exposure to the major risks.
THE OBJECTIVES OF CHARITY ARE:

2] Relief of poverty
a] Last year we worked hard and achieved stronger family ties and educating the Youth in the Church. This includes the counselling and advisory sessions to assist a large number of young members of the Church and the organisation of leadership seminars for the benefit of the community where youth and other matured individuals were encouraged to take up leadership roles with the community.
b] Supporting other Charity Organisation and emergency incidents around the world. We support Africa Mission and the Relief Agency to underdeveloped people in Africa. In addition, we have been supporting the world evangelical mission which aims at furthering the Christian Faith all over the world.
c] As a Parish, we have been visiting and praying for the sick people in the hospitals on Sundays after service.
d] We have been inviting our neighbours within our Parish area to an opening evening programme to spread the good news and advance the Christian faith and we are pleased to state that there has been a large turnout for the meeting.
DEVELOPMENT, ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS THIS YEAR
i) Fundraising for a permanent place of worship
This is an ongoing programme which we started years back by collecting offerings on First Sunday of every month to help the Charity gets its own property, which will be our permanent place of worship to further enhance our objective of Relief of poverty.
ii) We have intensified our efforts in evangelism to further the course of Christian faith.
iii) We have set up a welfare programme to assist church members and members of the community that need financial assistance, by alleviating their sufferings in respective of their race, background, sex or faith.

The Charity plans to work on the following schemes next year:
i) Barbecue outreach programme by inviting our neighbours within the area of our Parish and this will be a continuous exercise in order to spread the good news
ii) Having a coffee shed during the winter to the Homeless.
iii) Having a nursery to help mothers who need Day care for their children iv) Visiting Orphanages
v) Christmas Programme – We are planning to give hampers to the Elderly and the Homeless at Christmas season and make them happy by singing. Christmas carol for them and also present Christmas gifts to them.
vi) By early next year we plan to donate food and toiletries to the elderly people at Leonard Cheshire Disability at Randall close Resources Centre in Battersea.
We hope to increase our involvement with the Community through social inclusion by further sharing the Christian Faith and helping people develop biblical principles that build up self esteem enabling them to stay out of criminality and social vices and live a happy productive life.

Accountants / Independent Examiner's Report For The Year Ended 30th November 2024
We have examined the financial statements on pages 2 to 12 which have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out on page 4.
Respective responsibilities of the trustees and independent examiner
The charity trustees are reponsible for the preparation of the financial statements.
The trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 144 (2) of the charities (Act 2011) (the 2011 act).
It is our responsibilities to:
-
examine the accounts (under section 145 of the 2011 Act;
-
follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and
-
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner's report
Our examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the organisation and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and, seeking explanation from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently, I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
It is our responsibilities to form an independent opinion, based on my examination, on those financial statements and to report on my opinion.
Independent Examiner's Statement
In connection with our examination, no matter has come to my attention:
-
1) which gives us reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements
-
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act; and
-
to prepare acounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirement of the 2011 Act have not been met.

2) to which, in our opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
