Trustees Annual Report (TAR) of Amazing Grace Church London - Year End 2022
Achievements and Performance
This year the registered charity has continued to recover and make up for all the time lost during the lockdowns and uncertainty related to covid-19. The aftermath of this and the restrictions have also effected this year negatively. However the YE 2023 will show increase and good improvements. For the accounting year 2023 the IT infrastructure will be renewed and expanded. We carried on our goal of outreach and helping and faith-based prayer to those with in need of help. Due to previous expansion of the outreach to the USA and Australia it was able to help both in UK, Europe, USA and Australia. Looking at the accounting year 2023 outreach will include India and Africa.
Of course there is much more to be done, but to do more and grow, as stated inn the last TAR which was delayed because of covid-19 implications at least one more person of staff is required, this has been discussed with the Trustees and is the aim for the next year, to bring more structured growth. More fundraising is definitely needed and with the help of this person part-time even that can prayerfully be achieved.
Objectives Activities
3rd world missions were not possible this financial year either because of covid-19 implications and the subsequent travel restrictions.
But thankfully faith-based prayer in one-to-one again this year caused many hundreds of people that were successfully ministered, more testimonials for the website, to encourage even more people to seek help.
Important point to make here is that, whenever someone is ministered to in prayer and Revd Vincent has any concerns about their state of mind, he stresses that they need to seek professional medical help.
The Reverend Trustee has again this year spend many hours every week, counselling and giving pastoral care to the members of the congregation, outside the regular services and to many more people outside the congregation. The regular services have been to a still small congregation, because the charity’s focus and mission is outreach.
Statement of trustees’ Responsibilities
The trustees share the responsibilities and regular meet to discuss and agree on current affairs and new strategies and actions.
Structure, Governance and Management
As a faith based organisation the trustees pray for the Lord’s leading and confirmation before decisions are made, we will continue to govern the charity accordingly. A reserves policy is now in place and has been implemented.
A great deal of care, finance and time is invested longingly on our online presence were in this modern age of the internet it is imperative. In this report I also like to thank our volunteers who prefer not to be mentioned by name on public record, maintaining private,
but without their very hard unpaid work we would not have been able to operate and achieve what we have.
