**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITIES WORKING IN THE ARTS AND CULTURAL SECTOR (AS DEFINED) AND TO PROMOTE THE EFFECTIVE APPLICATION OF RESOURCES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY NON-CHARITABLE BODIES WORKING IN THAT SECTOR FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, BY IMPROVING THE GOVERNANCE OF SUCH CHARITIES AND BODIES SO AS TO ENHANCE THEIR LONG TERN VIABILITY BY:(I) PROVIDING (AND/OR ARRANGING FOR THE PROVISION OF) TRAINING AND SUPPORT IN TOPICS RELEVANT TO GOVERNANCE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROJECT DEVELOPMENT, AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT, PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATION WITH THIRD PARTIES, THE USE OF INFORMATION  AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS AND ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS GENERALLY;(II) PROVIDING (AND/OR ARRANGING FOR THE PROVISION OF) MENTORING AND FACILITATING NETWORK OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE INVOLVED IN THE ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THOSE BODIES AND CHARITIES; AND(III) PROMOTING AND CARRYING OUT RESEARCH IN SUBJECTS RELEVANT TO GOVERNANCE AND VIABILITY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
